On the Eve of Toni's 14th Birthday

I can't beleive you would be 14 tomorrow. I can only imagine how you would look how you would act how you would be a typical teenager.

I know you would be making me proud - I am so proud to have been your mother - and that you were my daughter.

So tomorrow - I will hold my head high and have a smile on my face. Knowing you are spending your birthday in the worlds most beautiful place ...

My arms and my heart will always ache for you.

HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY

TONI

We love you and miss you.

This year will be our Tenth year without Toni. How can a decade pass and we have survived when part of our heart is missing? How can we have spent more time without her than the time we had with her??

The aching to hold YOU never lessens
The wanting to kiss YOU never goes away
The wishing we could have YOU here for just one more day never fades.

We lost so much when we lost you Toni

So many times I reached out for your hand to find it not there.

I will always miss you Toni.

9 years ago our lives fell apart when the doctors uttered those four words

"She didn't make it"

Toni fought for her life and when she couldn't fight anymore the doctors fought for her. But it still was not enough. I vowed I would continue to fight for her life.

Now 9 years later I am still fighting for her.
With the Broadheads and many other supporters we continue to fight for Toni Belle and the many other families who have lost their children.

By educating parents salespersons child care workers and anyone else who comes into contact with children in cars. We are continuing to fight.

Thank you for your continued support.

A MESSAGE FROM LEANNE
I wanted to say thank you for your messages.

Losing Toni was the hardest thing that has happened to me in my entire life. And finding the strength to just get out of bed every morning these past 8 years has been so very hard.

When I first started speaking out about what happened to Toni I couldn't imagine that it would reach so many people and from all over the world. Toni is featured on the Kyle Miller Website in America which has 100's of views every single day!

When we went national to the Australian Media in Feburary last year re-living the accident and aftermath on National TV and in all the large newspapers I found everything getting me down I couldn't function properly and i was an emotional wreck.

I thought about giving it up! I wouldn't help bring Toni back to me nothing would. But I received a Message from an Essential Baby Member saying she had convinced her husband that their child needed to go back into a Booster and H Harness. A week or so later they were involved in a terrible accident but their child was safe thanks to my speaking out and informing parents of the safest options available.!!

I realized then that NO it wouldn't bring Toni back but it did allowed a mother to hold her child another night to tuck him into bed to hug and kiss and cuddle him and NOT to go through what we did. And I knew then and there that I was doing the right thing no matter how hard it is...knowing that I would give anything for one last kiss or cuddle with Toni.

TONI SAVED THAT LITTLE BOY.

Thank you for your messages it means a lot to hear feedback makes getting up in the morning a little bit easier.

Please keep safe and your child/ren.
