Just wanted to let you know my thoughts are with you.  After reading toni's story I am going out and buying harnesses for both of my older children who are still in booster seats I to didn't know that they couldn't use adult seat belts. Close

you will be happy to know, today at work, we sold out of 6 boxes of H harnesses, and would have sold at least 80 booster seats with submarine clips!! so the story going out to everyone has made a huge difference!

I had mothers come in crying, because they didnt know the risk and danger their children were in.
We handed out many discounts to parents buying, just to say thanks, as baby bunting isnt a store out to make lots of money, they just want lots of happy customers, and most off all, lots of safe children!

I just visited your daughters wonderful site. Thank you for the awakening. I know now I will take this info on board and this may just save my 8 month old as I know now that seatbelts on young kids can in fact kill. I was always raised thinking they only saved....how in the dark was I ?? Thank you.

Not sure if you have heard but the roads n safety are trying to raise the age limit of booster seats to make it law that children are to remain in them till @ least 7 years old. I hope it has a major impact and comes into effect. Thank you so much for all your hard work.

I have sat and written all email's to the minister of roads as well as safe and sound. I hope my voice as well as others makes some impact. I know if someone listened it will save others and your baby girl can rest in peace knowing she did this. My greatest wishes are with you and your family.

I have just purchased a maxi rider with a 5 point restraint for my 5 year old daughter.

Hi, I saw the signature on the EB forum for this memorial site.  I was curious as to what happened and when I read it, got me teary.  Our children are so precious and to know of someone elses little one being taken from them, it's heartbreaking and leaves you speechless, even though she /you are  a stranger to me.  I know what my little one will be wearing when she has a booster.   Sorry for your loss. :( Close

I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I HOPE YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR LAWS. IN TENNESSEE YOU HAVE TO BE IN A CAR SEAT UNTIL THE AGE OF 5YRS AND THEN IN A BOOSTER UNTIL THE AGE OF 8 YRS. I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THIS LAW TO HELP KEEP OUR CHILDREN SAFE. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS Close

The Word Is Spreading UPDATE  / Mummy
Just thought I would let everyone know, following the article in the Illawarra Mercury on Isabelle Broadhead on Saturday 27th January, and Toni on Saturday 3rd Feburary,

In todays Mercury (17th Feb), there was a follow up article, apparently 2 major baby shops in the Wollongong Area have had such an increased interest in the 5 point harness carseat and approved booster seats that they have sold out of both. They said that there has been many, many enquiries about the car seats since the articles were published........

So the word is definatly spreading locally and that is wonderful, but until we  get the word out Nationally i wont be satisfied.

I am going to email Danielle and see if she would like to speak to the local paper here in Nowra this coming week.

I remember just like yesterday receiving a phone call to tell us that Toni had died. 5 days after her brother had been born, we were living in Charleville and were so excited that Hamish & Leanne had a son he was born on our wedding anniversary. We were devasted that we could'nt be there for our family and Hamish,  Leanne & the children. It is very hard when you live so far away from family and freinds. I have a drawing from toni and have treasured it and will for my life and some photos that are on our wall and can see how stephaine does look so much like her. Leanne this site is a credit to you and hope it helps to share the lovely memories of Toni with others. It gives me the strenght to think and do one about the loved ones that Greg & I have lost and miss dearly everday. Forever in our heart Toni.
